I don’t want to ruin or spoil the book, but trust me when I say this… you NEED to read this book! It is a beautifully written piece of work and I cannot wait for the author to release the next book. I wish I could leave more stars because I would leave 10! If you don’t have this in your cart or library, run and add it immediately!
Imagine A Court of Thorns and Roses (SJM’s ACOTAR) and Game of Thrones (GoT) got together and had a book baby! It’s that freaking good! I don’t want to put it down.
The big screen rarely does a book justice when it’s adapted into a movie but I could easily see this being one of those movies that fantasy lovers watch over and over…but also in my case, I will read over and over!
This book had me going!!! I could not put it down!! The story was so well done, so immersive and compelling. The characters were wonderful, I felt drawn to Ayanna. I cried when she cried.
The emotional turmoil this book caused me, made me both love and hate the author. I love her for creating this world, and these characters. But I hate her for leaving the story how she did. So many questions!
I enjoyed every bit of this book- from start to finish. The world building is amazing! I loved the main character and finding out about her world right along with her was my favorite part of the journey. She is fire personified and I laughed and cried with her many times.
